Slovenia Promises to Help Moldova by Passing on Experience

Chisinau, 11 July - Co-operation with Moldova is a long-term investment in the future, when both Slovenia and Moldova are partners in the EU, said Slovene President Milan Kucan on the last day of his visit to Moldova on Thursday. Kucan and his counterpart Vladimir Voronin agreed that Slovenia would help Moldova on the way to the EU with its experience, including the experience in adopting the acquis. Kucan said that the two countries decided on regular consultations between their ministries, while Slovene Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to pay a visit to Moldova in the near future.
