Croatia Taken off List of Safe Asylum Countries by Slovene Government
Ljubljana, 11 July - The Slovene government drafted a list of safe third countries at Thursday's session. The list includes all the EU member states and Hungary, as these countries meet the asylum act criteria and international requirements for protection of asylum seekers. While Croatia had been on the list since 9 November 2000, it was taken off today with consideration to EU demands, said the Slovene Interior Ministry.
