Ljubljana, 11 July - The Slovene government was acquainted with the expected economic effects that would be brought on by Slovenia's membership of NATO. The government stressed that security is the foundation of the basic condition for development, while economic co-operation is also explicitly touched upon in the Washington Treaty.
