Kočevska Reka, 14 July - The first brigades were the "true blossom of the Slovene army" because they were decisive and successful in destroying the "occupying forces and their home collaborators", which together raised their hand against the Slovene nation, said Slovene President Milan Kucan at Sunday's ceremony in southern Slovenia marking the 60th anniversary since the first battalions of the National Liberation Army and Slovene partisan sections were formed.
