42 Percent More Trade on LJSE in First Half of 2002

Ljubljana, 16 July - In the first half of 2002, the trade volume on all the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) markets totalled SIT 206.21bn (EUR 910m). Compared to the respective period last year, the trade volume increased by 42 percent. According to the LJSE's half-yearly statistical report, the highest volume of deals was struck in April, SIT 41bn (EUR 181m), and the least in January, SIT 30bn (EUR 132m).
