Some 22 Percent of Brewer Union Changes Hands on LJSE; Speculations on New Brewers' War
Ljubljana/Velenje, 16 July - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) was waken up from the summer drowsiness on Tuesday, as the prospect of a new battle of the brewers showed on the horizon, with as much as 22 percent of all shares of the brewer Pivovarna Union exchanging owners in three lot deals. The deals have reawaken speculations about a possible takeover attempt by rival Slovene brewer Pivovarna Lasko, which refused to issue a statement today.
