Slovene Unemployment at 11.4 Percent in May

Ljubljana, 16 July - Slovenia's labour force amounted to 886,323 persons in May, of which 785,271 were in paid employment, up 0.1 percent over April and 0.7 percent over May 2001, according to the National Statistical Office. The registered unemployment rate thus stood at 11.4 percent, down 0.2 percentage points over March.
