National Council Asks Gov't to Draft Report on Bank Privatisation

Ljubljana, 17 July - The upper chamber of the Slovene parliament, the National Council, has asked the government to draft a report on the privatisation of banks by 1 September, which the council is to review at its September session. This decision was backed by 31 councilors today, after 15 councilors proposed Wednesday that bank privatisation should immediately be put on the agenda.
