SARAJEVO/BUTMIR/BLAZUJ - Slovene President Milan Kucan is to pay an official visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina. He is to meet with the BiH presidium, the council of ministers and the high representative of the international community in Bosnia Paddy Ashdown. In Butmir, the president is to visit Slovene units taking part in the SFOR and meet SFOR commander, General John Sylvester. Kucan is also scheduled to visit the plant of the Slovene household appliances maker Gorenje in Blazuj.

LISBON - Slovene Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to visit Portugal as part of his tour of the EU. He is to hold talks with State Secretary at the Portuguese Foreign Ministry Carlos Costa Neves and State Secretary for Rural Development at the Agriculture Ministry Fernando Bianchi de Aguiar.

ALPBACH - Slovene Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Franci But is to take part in the Alpbach Forum at the invitation of his Austrian counterpart Wilhelm Molterer. As the honourary speaker, Minister But is to address participants of this annual event to present Slovenia's experiences in rural development in the light of integration into the EU's common agriculture policy.
