New Party Fails to Collect Signatures to Call Referendum on Bank Privatisation
Ljubljana, 18 July - There will be no referendum on the temporary injunction of the privatisation of both largest state owned banks, NLB and NKBM, as the non-parliamentary New Party (Nova) has only managed to collect 15,000 of the required 40,000 signatures to call a referendum in the given deadline which expires on Friday.
