NATO and EU Support Level, Gov't Approval Rating Keeps Sliding

Ljubljana, 19 July - Support for EU and NATO membership remained virtually level in July as compared to a month before, however, the government approval rating has dipped again, the monthly opinion poll of the Centre for Public Opinion Research at the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences shows. NATO support thus stood at 39 percent for and 36 against, EU membership was endorsed by 50 percent and opposed by 27 percent, while the government approval rating stood at 45 percent, according to the Politbarometer.
