Foreign Ministry Says Bosnian Savings Deposits are Succession Issue
Ljubljana, 19 July - The Slovene Foreign Ministry said on Friday that the Slovene government would continue to treat the issue of hard currency savings deposits to Bosnian savers as an issue of former Yugoslavia succession. That contradicts the statements by Slovene President Milan Kucan, made on Thursday in Sarajevo, saying that the debt of the now defunct Ljubljanska banka to Bosnian savers could be discussed on a bilateral level.
