Slovenia's Langerholc Third at Monte Carlo Golden League Meet

Monte Carlo, 19 July - Slovene runner Brigita Langerholc ran under two minutes for the first time this year on her way to third place in the 800 metres event at the Golden League meet in Monte Carlo. Langerholc ran a time of 1:58.97, finishing behind Cuba's Zulia Calatayud 1:56.09 - a world best this year - and world and Olympic champion Maria Mutola of Mozambique (1:56.16).
