Croatia Opens Consulate in Slovenia's Koper
Koper, 22 July - "Our relations are not as good as they should be, however there are no major obstacles that we cannot overcome," said Monday head of the Croatian parliamentary foreign affairs committee Zdravko Tomac, as he officially opened the Croatian consulate in the Slovene coastal city of Koper together with his Slovene counterpart Jelko Kacin. Bozo Dimnik, president of the Society of Slovene-Croatian Friendship, has been named Honorary Consul, due to what Tomac labelled was a great contribution to the recognition of Slovenia and Croatia's independence in Europe.
