Slovenia not Willing to Close Regional Policy Chapter at All Cost

Brussels, 23 July - Slovenia would only agree to a closure of the regional policy chapter in accession negotiations with the EU if it gets a number of clear assurances from the fifteen-member bloc, Economics Ministry State Secretary and member of the Slovene negotiating team with the EU Igor Strmsnik said Tuesday on the sidelines of talks he held with European Commission officials in Brussels.
