EU Satisfied with Slovenia's Ability of Ensuring Safe Food

Ljubljana, 23 July - Slovenia's ability to ensure safe food, especially from plants, was inspected last week by the EU Directorate for Health and Consumer Protection. The EU veterinary and food inspectors were satisfied with Slovenia's control system, said the Slovene Agriculture Ministry on Tuesday. The final report of the inspectors, however, is to be published in a few months.
