Slovenia Successful in Passing Environment Legislation, Says Minister Kopac
Ljubljana, 24 July - A number of bills regulating sustainable development policy in Slovenia were passed in the first half of this year by the Ministry of the Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy, its head Janez Kopac told the press on Wednesday. The minister stressed that with these pieces of legislation Slovenia's environment legislation has been finally brought in line with the EU's body of laws. Moreover, these documents are the basis for the country's participation in this year's World Sustainable Development Summit.
