EU's Assurances to Slovenia Encouraging, New Ambassador to Brussels Says

Brussels, 24 July - Slovenia is making good progress in accession negotiations with the EU, with its ambition to join the Union not likely to face any major problems, were the reassurances given to the new Slovene Ambassador to Brussels Ciril Stokelj, as he presented his credentials to the top officials of the European Commission and the council of ministers earlier this week.
