Elementary School in SE Slovenia Burns to the Ground
Metlika, 25 July - A fire broke out Wednesday at an elementary school in southeastern Slovenia completely ruining the school building and the nearby gym. It is still unclear what triggered the blaze, which is believed to have caused damages in excess of SIT 400m (EUR 1.8m), however first information indicates that the fire broke out due to maintenance works on the central heating system.
