Pensioners' Party Left Without Presidential Candidate

Ljubljana, 25 July - Slovenia did not get the tenth candidate for the autumn presidential elections on Thursday, as Vinko Gobec, the favoured candidate of the coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS), said he would not enter the presidential race due to poor health. Gobec told the press today he would gladly take part in the "presidential battle", but he feels that a presidential candidate must be healthy.
