Slovenia and Austria Sign Declaration on Police Co-Operation
Salzburg, 26 July - A joint statement on police co-operation was signed by Slovene Interior Minister Rado Bohinc and his Austrian counterpart Ernst Strasser in Salzburg on Wednesday, prior to Thursday's kick-off of the 2002 Salzburg Forum, a gathering attended by seven interior ministers from Central Europe. The statement is to be a basis for a Slovene-Austrian treaty which should be signed within one year, said the Slovene Interior Ministry on Friday.
