Russian Prisoners of WWI to Be Remembered at Traditional Ceremony on Sunday

Ljubljana, 26 July - At the Russian Chapel bellow Vrsic, a mountain pass near the Slovene-Italian border, a traditional commemoration will take place on Sunday in memory of the Russian soldiers, prisoners of WWI, who were killed by a snow slide in 1916 while building a road. The ceremony will be attended by a delegation of Russian church and state officials while Slovene representatives will include Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel.
