Interbrew Does Not Intend to Withdraw from Pivovarna Union

Ljubljana, 26 July - Belgian brewer Interbrew does not intend to withdraw from Pivovarna Union, said on Friday Gauthier de Biolley, Interbrew's vice-president of strategy and business development. Interbrew and Union have signed an agreement on strategic partnership, he told the press, stressing that Interbrew would like to come to mutually-acceptable agreement with main rival for the takeover of Union, Slovene brewer Pivovarna Lasko, which currently holds 46.29 percent of Union.
