Slovene Steelworks Companies Should Pursue Their Strategy After Privatisation, Says Board Member
Ljubljana, 27 July - After the two major companies of the Slovene Steelworks group, namely Acroni and Metal Ravne, are privatised, they do not want their development, sales and financial centres to be moved abroad, leaving in Slovenia some 10 engineers, employed only to run the production according to orders from abroad. "We have know-how, our own development and our own buyers. With a little luck and suitable owners we can succeed," is convinced director of Acroni and board member of the Slovene Steelworks group Vasilij Presern.
