Slovenia Gets New Green Party - the Party of Ecological Movements

Ljubljana, 27 July - A new Slovene green party, Party of Ecological Movements (SEG), held its first congress in Ljubljana on Saturday. The party agreed to address the issues of environment protection, quality of living and social fairness in Slovenia, while the 57 delegates also adopted the provisional party programme and elected the executive committee, the council and the supervisory board.
