Russia and Slovenia Reiterate Close Ties While Remembering Russian Dead of WWI

Kranjska Gora, 28 July - The message of the tragic fate met by some 300 Russian POWs is foremost the recognition of the necessity to continue furthering human dialogue and memories, speakers addressing a traditional remembrance ceremony for Russian POWs from WWI who died under an avalanche while building a road stressed on Sunday at the Russian Chapel below the mountain pass of Vrsic in NW Slovenia.
