Slovene Champions Take 1st Leg of Champions League Qualifier

Maribor, 31 July - Reigning Slovene champions Maribor Pivovarna Lasko won the first leg of their 2nd round qualifying match for football's Champions League 2:1 (1:0) against Cypriot champions Apoel on Wednesday in Maribor. The return leg will be played in Nicosia in a week's time.
