Delo Examines Burning Issue of Old Bosnian Savings in Slovene Bank
Ljubljana, 1 August - The dispute of Bosnian savers with the defunct Slovene bank Ljubljanska banka (LB) and the state has opened up the Pandora's box of all demands of pre-war Bosnian savers to foreign as well as domestic banks, according to Thursday's edition of Delo. Media in Sarajevo are under increasing pressure from savers in domestic banks, especially Privredna banka Sarajevo (PBS), who filed lawsuits against the bank and the state but now complain, the paper observes, that all media attention is focused on the dispute with Slovenia, while nobody is interested in the army of other savers.
