Employers and Trade Union Finally Agree on a Six-Day Working Week

Ljubljana, 1 August - After more than a year of tough negotiations, retailers and the trade union of workers employed in the trade sector on Thursday finally found a common ground regarding the opening hours of shops. The two sides agreed that traders would be allowed to open shops between Monday and Saturday, while they will be able to have shops open on Sunday, bank holidays and at night only with employee approval.
