Upcoming NLB Assembly in Anticipation of Central Bank's Decision on KBC's Stake
Ljubljana, 2 August - The general assembly of NLB, Slovenia's largest bank, is to take place on 4 September, when six supervisory board members are to be dismissed and six new supervisors appointed. Moreover, the bank's statute is to be amended. According to the business daily Finance, the assembly will also formalise the entrance of Belgian KBC into NLB, however, the Belgians still need to get the go-ahead of the central bank to receive voting rights for its 34-percent stake, which is not yet to be taken for granted.
