St. Louis, 2 August - A day behind schedule after 29 consecutive days of swimming, Slovene extreme swimmer Martin Strel has so far conquered 1,450 km of the mighty Mississippi in his record-breaking quest, and is expected in St. Louis, Missouri, on 7 or 8 August. Although he has overcome 16 dams already, he still has nine to go before he can swim under the great Gateway Arch.
