Slovenia's First Post-Independence Passport to be Retired on Monday
Ljubljana, 2 August - Slovenia's first post-independence passport, which has accompanied Slovene citizens on their travels abroad ever since 1991, will be retired on Monday. After ten years, the blue passport is to be replaced by a red - EU-like - passport, which Slovene authorities claim is one of the world's most modern in terms of security features.
