SNS Head Critical of Succession Agreement and NATO Bid
Ljubljana, 5 August - The agreement on the succession to the former Yugoslavia is detrimental for Slovenia, as it would only get US$ 10 million of the former Yugoslavia's financial resources, while paying for US$ 1.5 billion of the former common country's debt, said Monday Zmago Jelincic, head of the opposition National Party (SNS). He also criticised efforts of the authorities towards NATO membership, especially in the light of U.S. plans to attack Iraq.
