Slovenia's First Post-Independence Passport Retires
Ljubljana, 6 August - Slovenia's first post-independence passport, which has accompanied Slovene citizens on their travels abroad since 1991, is no longer valid as of Tuesday. After ten years, the blue passport has been replaced by a red, EU-like passport, which Slovene authorities claim is one of the world's most modern in terms of security features.
