Vecer Looks into Death of German Tourist from Legionnaires' Disease

Maribor, 7 August - The recent death of an elderly German tourist, a guest of one of the hotels on the Slovene coast, from the deadly Legionnaires' Disease made the headlines of Wednesday's edition of the Maribor-based daily Vecer. The paper thus wonders why a similar case several years ago, involving a British tourist, did not result in the promised pre-summer checks of Slovene hotels and health spas for the legionella bacteria.
