Slovenia's First Insurer Challenges Constitutionality of Insurance Act
Ljubljana, 9 August - Zavarovalnica Triglav filed for a constitutionality assessment of articles 181 and 282 of the Slovene insurance act after being told to do so at Thursday's session of its supervisory board, said the largest Slovene insurer on Friday. Triglav claims that the two articles fail to provide for free economic initiative and legal protection against a decision by the Agency for Insurance Supervision demanding the dismissal of Triglav chairwoman.
