Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia between 3 and 9 August

Ljubljana, 10 August - The death of the German tourist who succumbed to legionnaires' disease in Slovenia at the end of July has been clarified. Already during the week, indications pointed to the fact that the disease had been contracted in Hotel Koper on the Slovene coast, which was officially confirmed today. This week's top political story was the almost daily incidents of Slovene fishermen and the Croatian naval police. Slovenia and Croatia exchanged a number of protests over the issue and the atmosphere of friendliness at the undetermined sea border has been clouded over.
