International Arbitration a Possible Solution to Border Issue, Says Croatian MP

Ljubljana, 13 August - For the sake of overall relations with Slovenia, Croatian negotiators have tried to give in to a certain extent in negotiations on the Slovene-Croatian border, however "if the other side tries to appropriate what is not theirs, making concessions is not necessary anymore," a Croatian daily quoted Zdravko Tomac, chair of the Croatian parliamentary foreign affairs committee, as saying. "There are three possible solutions remaining, one of them is international arbitration", he told Tuesday's Vjesnik.
