Slovene Consortium Becomes Majority Owner of Macedonia's Oldest Publisher
Skopje, 14 August - The Macedonian government has decided to sell a 69.76-percent stake in Macedonian publisher Nova Makedonija to a consortium of three Slovene companies, called Jug storitve, for 2.3 million euros. The only bidder for the stake is obliged not to downsize the 1,427-strong workforce in the next five years or change the company's core business.
