Health Institute: Over 100 HIV-Positive in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 15 August - As the latest data from the National Heath Institute indicates, there are at least 114 HIV-positive persons in Slovenia, 28 of whom have already contracted AIDS. While the future situation very much depends on how people heed warnings about risks of unprotected sex and the sharing of needles, the number of the HIV positive in Slovenia is relatively low in comparison to most European countries.
