Days of European Cultural Heritage 2002 Coincide with Series of Events in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 15 August - Industrial cultural heritage will be in the focus of this year's Days of European Cultural Heritage, which are to be officially launched at the end of August in "Zeche Zollverein", a coal mine in Germany's Essen which has been listed as one of the most important industrial monuments in the world. Slovenia too will mark the Days, with the official launch scheduled for 23 September at Bistra Castle in Vrhnika near Ljubljana, which is home to the Technical Museum of Slovenia.
