Are Nominated NLB Supervisors Unsuitable for the Job?
Ljubljana, 16 August - After the Slovene government nominated six members for a new supervisory board of the leading Slovene bank Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) in July, some doubts have arisen that four of the candidates could be unsuitable for the post. Worries over the legality of having debts in the very bank they are supposed to supervise have made NLB and the government turn to the central bank for advice, says financial daily Finance Friday.
