Gun Shot Proves Fatal for Slovene Citizen Who Resisted Arrest in Italy
Udine, 19 August - The 30-year-old Slovene who was shot in the head by Italian police while resisting arrest Thursday died in a hospital in Udine on Monday, Radio Slovenija reported. According to the carabinieri, the shot went off accidentally as police struggled to arrest the suspect, who was driving a stolen vehicle. The incident took place near the Casa Rossa (Rozna dolina) border crossing with Slovenia.
