Slovene Police Apprehend 3,640 Illegal Immigrants in Half-Year
Ljubljana, 21 August - A total of 3,640 clandestine immigrants were captured by the Slovene police in the first six months this year, which is a drop of 70 percent over the same period last year. 1,028 of the apprehended immigrants were Yugoslav nationals, while 586 were Macedonian citizens and 522 came from Turkey, according to the Slovene police.
