Arrival of Romany Family Causes a Stir in Tiny Slovene Village
Moravske Toplice, 22 August - A six-member Romany family has heated the atmosphere in the village of Prosenjakovci near the Slovene-Hungarian border, where it was relocated to on Tuesday by a neighbouring municipality which is making efforts to move people out of the city centre. The situation was very tense upon their arrival, so much so that police intervention was required to calm the displeased villagers, who feel threatened because of the family's alleged "suspicious past".
