Croatia's Arrest of Slovene Citizen Should be Raised in CoE, MP Believes
Ljubljana, 22 August - Following Croatia's arrest of Josko Joras, a Slovene living in the disputed strip of the Slovene-Croatian border, a Slovene opposition MP wrote to the chairman of the political committee of the Council of Europe (CoE) general assembly, Slovenia's Roman Jakic, asking him to raise a debate on the actions of Croatian authorities. In his opinion, Croatia is arbitrarily setting the border and enforcing its law in territory wrongfully claimed as Croatian.
