Croatian FM Ready in Principle to Meet Slovene Counterpart
Zagreb/Ljubljana, 23 August - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula is ready in principle to accept an invitation by his Slovene counterpart Dimitrij Rupel for a meeting over the latest border incidents, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said on Friday. It added that such a meeting should be planned carefully in order to yield substantive results. Slovenia's Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor meanwhile suggested that he would back an interparliamentary meeting if it should contribute to improving bilateral relations.
