Kucan Opens Int'l Agriculture Fair, Says Slovene Agriculture Well Prepared for EU
Gornja Radgona, 24 August - The 40th International Agriculture and Food Fair in the eastern Slovene town of Gornja Radgona, the biggest event of its kind in Slovenia, was opened Saturday by Slovene President Milan Kucan, who highlighted in his opening address that this year's fair will be one of the last before Slovenia joins the EU and is thus a measure of Slovenia's readiness for the event that will mark the country's future.
