Novartis to Offer up to EUR 400 a Share in Taking Over of Lek, Finance Writes
Ljubljana, 27 August - The Swiss multinational Novartis is to unofficially offer between SIT 85,000 (EUR 373) and 91,000 (EUR 400) a share in its attempt to take over the Slovenian pharmaceutical company Lek, the business daily Finance writes on Tuesday, referring to sources close to the Swiss company. Meanwhile, Lek's share peaked SIT 100,000 (EUR 439) on the stock market on Monday, only to close the trading at SIT 90,481 (EUR 398).
