Piran Municipality Urges Slovenia and Croatia to Settle Border Dispute
Piran, 27 August - The municipality of Piran called upon the Slovenian and Croatian governments on Tuesday to take action and calm down the situation along the border, which would enable further development of good-neighbourly relations. The call comes after the municipal council held an extraordinary session to discuss Croatia's arrest of Piran councilor Josko Joras, a Slovenian citizen living in the disputed border region.
